Armed men suspected to be Al- shabab have attacked a passenger bus at Nyongoro near Witu town in Lamu County.
This Bus was traveling from Mombasa To Lamu.
Region County police Boss Irungu Macharia confirmed the incident to Standard Digital, adding that a security team has been deployed to the area.
A source added that at least three people have been confirmed dead. The area has seen numerous such attacks in the past with the terrorists fleeing into Boni Forest after the ambushes.
